Introducing the UKSN Survival Academy

We are proud to introduce the UKSN Survival Academy, our brand-new learning hub for members. This is the next stage in our journey as a community, giving members structured training and resources to build real-world outdoor and self-sufficiency skills.

The Academy will grow over time, offering digital and physical courses on survival, prepping, bushcraft, and more. Our aim is to provide practical knowledge that you can use in everyday life, on camp, or in challenging situations.

First UKSN Survival Academy Course Now Live

To kick things off, we have released the very first course in the Survival Academy - the UKSN Member Radio Compliance Course.

The training is designed for Advanced and Ultimate members equipping them with the knowledge and skills to use the UKSN radio licence safely, legally, and effectively. Completion of this course is required before using any UKSN-allocated frequencies.

Completing the course unlocks exclusive benefits for Advanced and Ultimate members:

The Survival Academy has only just begun. Right now, the Radio Compliance Course is the only available training, but more will follow as we expand. Over time, we plan to release additional online courses as well as physical training events so members can put skills into practice in the field.

From navigation and fire-lighting to food storage and self-sufficiency, the Academy will evolve into a valuable learning resource for every member, no matter your experience level.
