Introducing UKSN: The Bushcraft, Survival, & Outdoor Community
In recent years, the popularity of bushcraft, survival, and camping has grown significantly, with many individuals seeking to reconnect with nature and learn essential skills for self-sufficiency and outdoor living. One such organisation that has gained popularity in this space is UKSN. A British-based community that aims to bring together individuals interested in outdoor pursuits and help them develop their skills and knowledge.

What is UKSN?
At its core, the UKSN is a family friendly community of outdoor enthusiasts that helps people become better prepared for outdoor living and survival situations.
UKSN was originally conceived in 2014 by Glyn Smith, an outdoor enthusiast, with a mission to empower the outdoor community and help share important outdoor/survival skills.
In fact, the UKSN is built around a strong community ethos and encourages members to share their knowledge, experience, and skills with one another. The organisation aims to provide a friendly and supportive environment where members can learn and develop together.

WHAT DOES UKSN OFFER?

WHAT MAKES UKSN SPECIAL?

Welcoming Environment
The UKSN has a fully formed constitution and code of conduct. We also have both anti bullying and child protection policies in place that we expect all members to adhere to at all times. These core documents form the backbone of UKSN, ensuring that our community remains a safe environment for all members.

The UKSN is one of a small number of organisations to hold a Camping and Caravan Exemption Certificate in England, Scotland and Wales. This enables us to operate campsites for sole use by our members without needing planning permission or to apply for change of use for the land.
