How to do it: Head out to local woods or set up a zone in the garden. For a natural build, gather fallen branches to create a sturdy A-frame against a tree trunk, weaving smaller sticks and foliage over the frame to make it weather tight. If natural wood is scarce, grab a couple of tarps, some paracord, and a few tent pegs to teach them basic knot tying and shelter setups.
