This week you have 2 challenges to complete!
Challenge 1:

Build a Water Filter
Having clean water is paramount but do you know how to create a filter using a tiered filtration method?
The Challenge
You need to filter water that is visibly dirty containing a lot of larger organic matter. It's time to build a water filter!
Items Required
Varied depending on your filter
Instructions
Step 1: Gather materials such as sand, charcoal, gravel, twigs, grass and even fabric. These will be used as the filter medium.
Step 2: Decide on a form factor. You need to construct something that can hold the filter medium (sand, gravel etc) in layers. There are many methods to do this including the simplest using a bottle with the end cut off and then filling with the different layered materials. The more layers - the cleaner the water will look at the end.
Step 3: Once you have created your filter and filed it with the layers of filtration medium its time to gather water and pour it into your filter.
Step 4: Place a container under the filter to collected the 'purified' water.
Step 5: Although the water looks cleaner is devoid of larger organic matter we would advise you to boil the water to kill any nast bacteria that may be lurking within the water.
Challenge 2:

Tie a Noose
A noose is one of the most important knots when it comes to trapping. It allows you to use an object (or animals) momentum to tighten a knot automatically.
The Challenge
You need to quickly create a noose for use in part of a trap (Which you will build in a later challenge).
Items Required
- thin rope, paracord, metal wire or fishing wire
Instructions

Let us know how you get on using the comments section below or posting via our Facebook group. In fact, why not post on both?
