Well what can I say about this? Im chunky! I know im chunky I have been for a few years and this lockdown time has not done me any favours at all!
According to the NHS website my BMI is 33.1 and i'm almost 30kg overweight so no more messing around!
The first order of business was to quit the cups of tea with 1 heaped sugar 6-8 times a day. Im now a week in and have only just got over the need for a constant brew on the go.
The next step was to sort out a routine for eating as my usual habit was to skip breakfast and lunch and have a massive carb filled meal around 6 o'clock every day. Im now on quite a well known meal replacement shake for breakfast and lunch every day with a light healthy meal in the evening.
My calorie intake is around 1600cal a day and im a week in to my diet, I have dropped a few lb already but need to keep this up for a significant amount of time before I see any major changes in my clothes sizes.
Its worth noting at this point that the shake I have has a consistency of runny porridge! imagine blended wetabix in cold water and you are close to what its like.
