Bear Patches Charter Host Easter Family Camp
April 8 @ 10:00 am - April 11 @ 12:00 pm
Bear Patches UKSN charter would like to invite you to an Easter camp from Sat 8th – Tuesday 11th April 2017 (3 nights) but if you can only make 1 or 2 nights then that’s fine.
One of the closest campsites to London, the site is over 30 acres with 1940’s tarmac roads – no getting stuck in the mud!
This is a family friendly event and you are only paying for the campsite fees (we might ask you to contribute towards shared firewood if you can).
Arrive from 10am on Saturday 8th April.
Price – –
Book before January if you can because there will be a small price increase in the new year.
Adult: £15 per night
Parent booking with children: £12.50 per night
Child (over 3 and under 16): £6 per night
Payment – –
Please book direct on the website.
Select the dates 8th April – 11th April, enter the number of Adults / Children and in the booking comments put ‘FoxesWay – Mears group booking’ to ensure the bookings are all put together.
Important – –
Once you have booked please also email: BearPatches@protonmail.com just with your name and number of Adults and Children you are bringing so we can keep track of numbers and arrange enough materials for activities. We will also send you a reminder of the event by email closer to the time.
Notes – –
Tents and Hammock camping are welcome, we will have a communal parachute shelter area so bring your comfortable chair! We want to arrange an Easter Egg hunt for the kids ( and grown ups that want to join in), paracord bracelet making and fire bow drill competition, and any anything else fun that we can think of.
There are hot showers, composting toilets and washing up area but no drinking / food prep water due to the site using tanked water storage, so please ensure you can bring a supply of drinking water with you, we would suggest minimum 10 liters or more depending on how many people you bring.
Firewood must be purchased from the site (£10 for a large bag) – strictly no collecting or cutting deadfall, this is to protect the ecology of the woodland and maintain a natural habitat, and keep within the sites planning regulations.
No amplified music, although you are very welcome to bring acoustic instruments..!
There is a small shop on site they sell bottled drinking water, matches, fire lighters and torches, tea, coffee & crisps etc, as well as firewood.
Camping is at your own risk, the organisers, Bear Patches charter members, Admin of UKSN Facebook groups or the UKSN company will accept no responsibility for your actions and accidents. The site will also ask you to sign a waiver on entry at main reception. If you chop your own fingers off with an Axe then it’s your fault! The site has public liability insurance that covers their own facilities / buildings etc.
Anybody asked to leave the site by the owners of the woodland will do so with no refund, they could also ask the whole group to leave so very best behaviour please!
