At least fifteen women including a man were injured after the roof of a house collapsed in Sahiwali police jurisdiction on Monday. Police said that during a gathering for condolence at the residence of Muhammad Aslam at Wijh Tehsil Sahiwal, the roof of Veranda was collapsed. As a result, 15 women including a man received multiple injuries. Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to DHQ hospital Sargodha.

Three people were killed and twelve others were injured when a factory building collapsed in Dzerzhinsky, in the Moscow Region, the Emergencies Ministry told TASS on Monday. "Three bodies have been pulled from the rubble," a spokesman said. Six people were sent to hospitals with various injuries and six others received medical assistance but refused to be hospitalized, the region's Health Minister Dmitry Matveyev said. Japan's Meteorological Agency says a volcano erupted on Kuchinoerabu Island in the southwestern prefecture of Kagoshima on Tuesday. Mount Shindake erupted explosively shortly after 4:30 PM. A column of volcanic ash rose 2,000 meters into the air, and large rocks were seen spewing from the crater. A pyroclastic flow reached a distance of about one kilometer down the western slope. A rescue operation is underway after a 16,000-tonne Russian cargo ship ran aground off a popular beach in Cornwall in the early hours of the morning. The coastguard believes that strong winds overnight were the cause of the accident. Locals have been warned to keep off the beach as rescuers attempt to re-float the vessel.
